We'll have some video up as well very soon. Our next show will be for the Rock N Roll Marathon on Sunday, Nov 16th. We play at 8:45am (ouch...) If youre running in the marathon, then you will here us play. The show is free and open to everyone. So if you are up bright and early look for us on the 18th stage by the Missions.

Nov. 7th

Ledaswan will be playing this whole weekend. You can catch us Friday, Nov 7th at The Vintage House. Everything starts at 5pm. Yoshimoto and De Los Muertos are also playing. It's First Friday, so come out and have fun and look through the store. We go on at 8:15pm.
Then Saturday, Nov 8th we will be at Retox Bar for the Local 782 showcase w/Verity and Audio Glo Experience. We will go on a little after midnight.

Sept 15th

Special thank you to Tattoed Boy Ray for making our flyer for the Oct 3rd show. You should be seeing these passed around all over town in the next few days. Hopefully we will see everyone on Oct 3rd.

Sept 12th

September has been an off month for Ledaswan. Not off as in we are completely taking a break though. We said we were gonna take a break from playing anc concentrate on writing more music. Although we decided to do some acoustic shows this month. Speaking of, Erica, David and I will be playing at The Blue Bubble Ballroom, as long as Hurricane Ike doesn't come and wash us away before that. Blue Bubble is located at 9315 Broadway. It is a great place. Great stage, great sound, and pretty big venue. It's also got good air conditioning. So Ledaswan acoustic shows are not what you typically think of as an acoustic show. On the contrary, a Ledaswan acoustic show is what a normal loud band show is minus the bass and drums. We still rock it, as we will tomorrow. Please come out and support us.

So we took this month off to write new music. We've got 4 new songs that we hope to unleash on you soon. You might hear some of these at The Mix on Oct 3rd.
1. Faulkner
2. Six is Better
3. The New 50's (ha...working title, have a better suggestion?)
4. What a Way to Drown

We hope to have these done and recorded along with another 5 tracks sometime this year and out early 2009. We are excited. It's still Ledaswan, but a different sound than Verse of Truth Trash and Beauty.

We are constantly updating our blog, so if you want to be updated on all things Swan come read our blog and leave your comments if you like.

Our tour was a great success. You can look through our blog for post and pictures from the tour. We are taking most of September off. We are going to concentrate on writing new music and start getting ready to record our new album. This time it will probably be a full length. We have about 3 new songs in the works right now and they are sounding great. We will resume playing some shows in October and you might actually hear one of the new ones. We will finish off the month of August with some acoustic shows. Jaime and Erica will be playing at The Limelight on Aug 22nd as part of San Antonio Unplugged. We are also very excited to announce we will be opening up for Jeremy Enigk at The Rock Bottom on Wed, Aug 27th. If you don't know who this guy is, then you better look up Sunny Day Real Estate on the internet and then prepare to be floored. These guys were what you would consider the grandaddies of emo music. But it's nothing like what you consider emo music today to be. It is beautiful, though and you would do yourself a favor by checking them out. Then come see Jeremy do an acoustic show on Wednesday. Cinderleaf's own Jay Stiles will also be on the bill. Hope to see everyone there.
